Coronavirus is contagious. Please take every precaution to ensure you are spreading only kindness. Wash your hands with soap and hot water regularly and before and after handling pets. Items should be left on your doorstep.

Cottingham, in East Yorkshire, is reputedly the largest village, in population terms, in England and can trace its roots back to Anglo Saxon times.
We would like to welcome you to the Cottingham Parish Council website and we hope that you will find it very useful and informative about our Village.
The Parish Council was established in May 1999 and has 11 elected councillors. We hope that this Website will provide useful information and further enhance communication between Cottingham Parish Council and the residents of Cottingham. The whole purpose of the Parish Council is to safeguard the well-being of Cottingham and of its residents. If you have any issues or concerns about anything affecting the village please do not hesitate to contact the Parish Council Office.
The Parish Council is made up of a number of committees. The work of these committees is supported through the dedicated work of voluntary groups, residents and outside support agencies and organisations.

PARISH COUNCIL OFFICE OPENING HOURS
From Monday 2nd July 2018 the office will be open to the public Mon-Thu 10am - 3pm and Friday 10am - 12pm
PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT THE "LATEST NEWS" PAGE FOR UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE VILLAGE.
The Parish Council has eight Notice Boards sited at strategic locations around the Village on which posters are displayed giving details of events which are being held as well as information about clubs, societies and groups which operate within the Village.
These Display Boards can be found at: Market Green; Outside the Co-op: West Green, Eppleworth Road; Green Lane (near the Castle Green shops); The Parkway (near the bus shelter); Station Road and the junction of Bricknell Avenue/Hull Road.
The Boards are updated on a fortnightly basis.
